October 4-10 is Fire Prevention Week

Help your child know what things in your home are "hot" and should not touch. Sparky the Fire Dog wants you to share this information wiht your children: Saftey tips for burn prevention:
  • Tell a grown-up if you find matches or lighters
  • Stay out of the kitchen when adults are cooking on the stovetop
  • Do not touch hot irons, toasters, or curling irons
  • Have an adult check the water temperature of the bath before you get it
  • Keep three feet of empty space around space heaters adn fireplaces
